Alignment question

Taken from that 3 year old necro that was locked.

My car is now 8 years old and I have never had an alignment. Someone in the said thread mentioned every year. How could you benefit from an alignment if you don't need one. Car drives straight and no uneven tire wear.
 
Only required when suspension components are severely worn/damaged or replaced.

Its not something that changes or requires frequent adjustment.
 
Yeah, it's not a preventative maintenance thing. You would have one done if you notice uneven tire wear, drifting, etc.
