hi, just wondering if anyone knows a place (retailer/etailer/supplier - anything) to get one of those Silver Alienware cases as shown here. The site says they are exclusive to alienware, but somebody's gotta make them. I'm in the UK so a uk supplier wud help but if u can help and ur from the USA (or anywhere else for that matter) then post as wel. all help appreciated.

Highly doubtful man. Those were custom made with a 5 figure cost to alienware, so I highly doubt your gonna find one by itself. Its nothing more then a 1030 case wit the fancing covering attatched to it. Which is fine, nothing wrong with that.

they cannot be bought end of story. they where made for AW and only AW you wont find them anywhere else unless someone bought a AW and sold the case.

They were made exclusive because everyone started using those chieftec, antec, chenming whatever lookalikes... even worse when they painted them green just like alienware. now they're avoiding that same problem by having an exclusive case... so people like you and me can't get it. 😀 I bet they have a copyright on that design too.
 
yeh thkz for all da help, they are basically a cheiftec dragon wiv custom plates on the front/sides and are made for alienware by a company in taiwan, clevo, who make all their cases, including the cheiftec ones. i spect the same company makes cheiftec and antec cases too and sells em to cheiftec/antec.
 
please send me the link to that website if it ever pops up . . . i have my own horror story dealing with these Bozos. I was left with a machine that could not be restored to it's day one condition after only 30 days !!! they agreed to take it back . . but with a 15% restocking charge!!!

the case is the only thing worth having . . . when i returned the Alienware machine. . i got my son a Dell and some Neon light sticks:disgust:

I'd deff leave a nice resellers rating if they are listed 😀
