alienware case

the alienware case is the sweetest lookin case ever. is there anyway to get a case like taht without taking apart from a pc?

they special order thier own cases, and are the only place to get them.

don't even bother. even if you found one on egay i'm sure it would go for well over 200 dollars. and thier not all that great. thier very plasticky looking

I remember when alienware had first dibs to the chieftech series of cases. Took almost two years to start seeing them elseware.
Anyone at least know who manufactures the new cases for the alienware systems? plasticy looking or not they are well designed I think.

Another series that I like are the Lian Li silent design cases.. not sure about the model number but they have sound proofing foam mat and a brushed aluminum drive bay cover that swings on a hinge.

Those alienware cases are nothing more than the newest chieftec cases with funny plastic molding added on by alienware. I severly doubt that they will ever be sold stand alone. I mean, back when alienware sold the chieftec cases without all the plastic, they molded thier name into the side. You could never buy those stand alone, and the same should go for this. It's thier trademark.

They aren't that great, they look and feel cheap IMO.

Just to let you ppl know, I seen them at Best Buy. Yup, thats right, at best buy. It was in boxes. Just the case, not the system.

Eh... I know BB carries custom AW systems... but I've yet to see just the case...

...and they wont sell it. I asked already. One of them did let me buy an empty micron case for $30 a few years ago. I guess they'll let it get old before they get rid of it.

The cheiftec/antec cases are the same exact case and it doesnt have that stupid covering! I mean all signs point to YES!!
