Alienware Area-51 Laptop: Any good?

How is this laptop? I came accross it and it seems to be better than the comp I planned to build for about the same price. When I tried to make a similar system over at Dell, they wanted over $4000 instead of Alienware's 2800. Also, how can a laptop cool a 2.4 P4. Most people run multiple fans but the laptop has a few little holes? Anyone seen any reviews? I couldn't find any.
 
dell has to pay a lot more for those mobile chips than alienware does for those desktop chips. whats your config?
 
This was the system I was going to build for about 2000, but I guess I'll shell out the extra 1000 for the mobility and performance. Also, the space saving's should rock in college. Maybe I'll even spring for the exigy(spelling?) and Z-560's. That should rock. Power isnt a prob, most of the time it will be used in my dorm room, lab, or classroom, all of which have outlets 🙂

that would rock, but even the fastest lappies can't keep up due to none of them having pc2700, 7200 rpm drives (esp the WD JB series) or full fludged 3D accelerators (though the radeon mobility 7500 is a tad faster than my 7500 AIW and it games just fine). number 1 rule is don't buy a computer until you need to... i dunno about alienware but dell puts laptops out the door within a couple days of when you order. the rv250 should be coming out soon and will probably kill in mobile form.
