ALIENS { special edition} DVD.

Since my crappy VHS version is warned out & i only have the theatrical version not the SpecialEdition,I need to know if any of you have This Edition of DVD or is it worth getting?Im thinking about getting this on DVD but i just need to know if it's any good or worth the money?

It kosts about $120 here, all the four Aliens movies in a package, so I wont buy it, I would if it was about $80 or so.

Well you can buy them single over here!
About $23 US.
Over here in sydney would be about $35 australian!

I picked up the set of four for $67 I did not notice whether they were special edition or not since I just picked them up for the price and have not had a chance to watch them.

Aliens was the only good one anyways....no point in buying the package...just get the single

I have the Aliens special ed. DVD. I don't think it's DTS, just dolby digital. I think it's wonderful. Looks and sounds very good and has an interview with James Cameron. If you really like the movie it's a no brainer.

The Aliens Special Edition is pretty good, especially if you like the movie. It has lots of extras: making of, trailers, studio footage of special effects.......🙂

ALIENS was one of the scariest movies ever. I still have fingernail marks in my leg from my best friends wife (or was that from our roller coaster ride?)

How is the sound track? Heard the original was purposely muddy to heighten the tention.

I have it...yeah it's good. It's 1.85:1 widescreen instead of the usual 2.35:1...and I like the 1.85:1 a little better I think. The only other movies I have that are 1.85:1 are Saving Private Ryan and Sleepy Hollow

I also have the Alien Legacy box set, btw. Bought it over a year ago for about $90 Canadian
