If aliens exist, they should not look anything like us. There is no reason why aliens should share ANY physical similarities with us.

So they won't have legs or arms or prehensile 'thumbs".
What if they drop their Visa?

There are millions of variations of body designs, depending on the environment in which the being evolves. Why should aliens look like us? It is not impossible, but very unlikely. People tend to anthropomorphize everything around them.

Yet everyone is so anxious to find "the chemicals of life" (as we know them) on extra terrestrial objects. Who's to say an alien species has cells like an earth being?

We share common genetic material, see the recent findings on the material from space that landed in Australia.

Aliens do exist, hundreds of thousands of civilizations are humming along as we speak. For every period of development of man there are tens of thousands at the same stage. There are also tens thousands far more advanced. Drake equation/....

I hate that blasted equation. It's nonsense.

There are millions of billionaires! Proof!

Wealth= Dollars saved/week x weeks!

I've proved it!

List of things that don't exist:
Aliens
Tooth Fairy
Easter Bunny
Santa Claus
Fairness in life

Aliens existence is a mathematical certainty. Them showing up here is as equally improbable as their existence is probable. The rest of your list is fine.

Don't think so pal.

Put on your tinfoil hat, and go out in the rain. I have confidence that someday, we will be reading about you on the Darwin Awards.

You didn't take into account the odds of being a billionaire, and the odds of being from a background that leads to being a billionaire....

Improved equation:

Wealth=Dollars saved/week x weeks x background x billionaire odds.

You have it!

How much do you have now?

How much do you have now?

Small, just like the number of intelligent species in the universe.

Yep, perhaps one.

That's why the Drake equation is useless. We have people using it without values for the constants. It's hard to extrapolate from a single data point, us.

Aliens from outer space are sleeping in my car.
