Aliens Doom 3 Mod?

Is there any news on a possible Aliens mod for Doom 3 (similar to the Aliens mod for the original Doom)? The Doom 3 engine practically screams Aliens, so a mod just makes sense.

not yet. There are alot of mods in the works. one notable is the System Shock 2 total conversion 🙂

I thought that got canned because of copyright problems?

I remember Fox went after the creators of the orginal Aliens mod. Even if someone does create a D3 Aliens there is no way Fox will look the other way, especially since they make money off the AvP games.

You'll probably have to wait for the official D3-based AvP3.

I would not be the least bit surprised if one pops up. Don't expect it to be widely distributed though. I remember how hard it was to get the Doom Aliens TC.
