Back in December, a friend of mine picked up the Alien Quadriliogy for my birthday. Due to the fact that the wife just doesnt like those types of movies, I had never gotten a chance to watch my favorite sci-fi thriller on this wonderful medium. Last night, I had the house to myself for a few hours, so I finally popped it in.

They did a fantastic job with the transfer. It's SO clean and beautiful. Audio and Video alike... Just splendid! The movie still makes me creeped out, even though I know what's gonna happen after many watches on VHS. What movie these days can still do that? I cant think of any.

I lub me some Alien! Hopefully I'll get a chance to watch Aliens sooner than later 🙂 🙂 :beer:

Does the quadrilogy have the original theatrical version, or only the director's cut? I don't like the added scenes and I'm curious if there's an option to view it in it's original form.

It gives you the option to watch director's cut or original version 🙂

I own the THX Remastered version of Aliens: Director's Cut. One of my best DVD purchases!
