I hate the discovery family of channels. They make everything up because they have no real scientific content.

Huh? I've seen only the Dragons show, the show about future earth animals, and Alien Planet as "make everything up" shows. They show alot of garbage like Monster Garage and American Chopper though.

I liked Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real and part of the future earth lifeforms show. They were fun "what-if" shows. There are still plenty of other shows on the Discovery channel that deal with real science. The "Walking With" specials are still my favorite.

Didn't they do this show already? I remember watching one a year or two ago and yes it was an alien world one.

This is only a step above their all time low, Power Tool Drag Racing, which was on last week... Ah well, at least there's NGC and the History channel :( Also some good BBC stuff via BT :)

No jackass :). I remember them going over one planet with a weird gas atmosphere methane or something and the huge tree/plant things that lived on it. Thats about all I remember of it though.

the behemoth walking around w/ the island on its back reminds me of that guy w/ the chains loitering in the desert in god of war

ya their pseudo-documentary thing is so rediculous. Nice thing with DVRs is you can skip past the talking heads and watch the good CGI stuff they do :p
