Depends on how you define alien.

If an alien is a being from a different planet, then no, God would not be an alien.

If an alien is an unfamiliar being, then yes, God could be considered and alien.

Your first two options are essentially the same:

Some unknown unidentifiable being did it.

beings you mean.... as in multiple aliens.

Cause if it was jsut one alien, that would be our god, but if it were multiple aliens, they would just be aliens.... hmmm interesting....

And also: I think if I saw an alien I'd be able to identify it.

That is a mighty big if.
For any alien (or group of aliens) to arrive at this insignificant spec in the universe it would have to have godly powers.

God doesn't have to be detected to be there.

Pink elephants flying out of your *ss don't have to be detected either. So that's enough prove for you that they exist?

I only read the title, so I voted aliens, as they are more believable than god(s).
But if it's about how we began, I'd go for evolution atm.

Oh yeah, aliens invented microchip, aliens invented math, aliens invented science, the internets, and so on... lol

What do you mean is there a point? It's as valid of a discussion as any. The point here is trying to substantiate what created man, assuming we all agree on creationism.

So, if we can't come to an agreement, I guess I'll be introducing MY own theory of creationism in schools as well, and your children will have to learn it.

This is always so silly to me.

People believe we need a creator, yet do not explain who or what created the creator. If everything needs a creator, than the creator needs a creator. To simply say "he/it was always there" is absurd.

It's not "turtles all the way down" folks.

I think just about every single miracles, creations, events, inventions, etc... can be attributed to either God, or Alien depends on what you chose is more believable.

All I could think about when reading this was my hope that English isn't your native language.

I couldn't even read past the first part because I felt like I was reading something written by a 5 yo

He also doesn't have a passport...

They can also be attributed to other things as well

There had to be something. Something does not come from nothing. This concept is known as the "prime mover". I guess scientists would call it the "big bang" or whatever.

I always thought it was turtles. *shrug*

God is an Alien. Aliens are God. They're one and the same from the logic perspective.

Your choices could use some work. I believe in the Theory of Evolution, yet am extremely sceptical about abiogenesis being the origin of life.

Agreed.

Time is more or less an illusion, so there's nothing absurd about that. The matter/energy that makes up this universe has always existed and always will -- information (in the physics/quantum/cosmological sense) cannot be destroyed. I would say that the "need" for a creator is a bit absurd, but I can't discount the possibility of one either.

I'm not too sure, but I think the F-117 has to come off some Aliens technology, because that thing has the aerodynamic properties of a rock.

...how? How would you know that what you were seeing was an alien?

Can you make a 4th option that says:

"Who cares because it's impossible to prove and all these stupidass god/alien/evolution threads are a waste of time and server space"
