Anybody play American McGee's Alice? I've always thought it was interesting and it got great reviews. I was looking into games in the early '00 and that popped up.

Not sure if it'll work on Vista but I wanted to try it.

Friend gave me his copy years ago after he played and beat it. I played it through a week and beat it. Great game for sure. Loved a lot of the visuals in the game.

yeah i love the atmosphere of games and this seems that it might have a really inventive one...I am a huge adventure buff and this could fit under that category

I liked everything about the game except the gameplay. For some reason, I just couldn't get into it and got bored after a couple of hours. Tried playing it at least three times but no go. Everyone else seems to like it though and it's had some great reviews, so there's something about it that just doesn't do it for me.

Alice and MDK2 were probably some of my all time favorite games - at the time. Sadly, games just don't really take on the cool art direction anymore.

I'm looking on Amazon and they either don't have anything close to compatible or they are too expensive

I thought bioshock had some pretty amazing and varied looking environments. Alice had the advantage of wonderland not requirng strict adherence to physics/logic.

Totally agree with you both.

Yeah, I had that nice satisfied feeling you get after reading a good book when I was done. You know the recent memories of the experience kinda playing through your head. Great game.

Old as shit though...you just got around to it?
