this show isnt cancelled yet? once sidney "died" the show was all over. (sidney is the main character, right?)

she came back "2 years later"or whatever and vaughn married some other broad. Im just saying that after that point, the show was down hill.
 
Vaughn is not coming back.

The new female agent is definately hot. I think they are setting it up to have less of a focus on Sydney. ABC looks like they are trying to kill it with the switch to the death hour on Thursday.

Down hill? Hardly. Last season was spectacular in that it went back to it's roots. They do a great job reinventing the show as it goes along.
 
It's not Vaughn. Think about it. This is the culmination of Rambaldi Prophecies, now concentrating on DNA and life after death. They are not going to waste it on Vaughn. Who would be worthy of coming back? Rambaldi himself, or at least someone much more important than Vaughn.

I can't believe this show went so downhill and it's only the second episode. I had no idea Vartan was leaving. Makes sense though, he can carry a movie. But why did Weiss leave? This is the best job he's ever had and ever will. He only has it because JJ Abrams takes care of his "family". I guess we'll see him on Lost next. Then they come in and bring in 2-3 new characters. Stupid characters too. And judging by that spy chick in the bar, characters that can't act either. Garner must be under contract because I can't figure out why she is still sticking around. She obviously thinks she is too good for this petty stuff. The fame defintely got to her head (read: divorced her no-name husband after she hit the "big time")
 
Vartan was killed off because he and Gardner had a thing off-screen and now that's she's pregnant with GigantaHead, she didn't want him on the set anymore.

I finally watched it last night (DVR'd). I'm still bitterly disappointed about Vaughn getting axed but the show is still good, IMO.
 
the show's alright, but i don't really see it going past this season... it would be pushing i think.. unless.. the writers really pull something out of their asses

can someone substantiate this? because michael vartan is an awesome actor. but i suppose he never did anything big either. i would actually cast him for the new bond. comments?
