Is Algeria next?

Of all the other countries, Syria, Jordan, Morocco, Libya... Algeria could be next. It sounds like it isn't quite as corrupt as Egypt was, but it will be interesting to see what happens with this protest nonetheless.

I wonder if Iran will get another crack at it eventually too?

I'm not sure if France would allow that. They are already extremely worried about Tunisia and a mass exodus of refugees to French shores because of potential instability. They probably redirected that plane full of crowd control and police equipment from Tunisia to Algeria. You can bet that their foreign minister has made Algeria the same offer of anti-civilian training, too. Apparently the French are skilled in “security situations of this type" and seem eager to bring that to Northern Africa to stem the tide of refugees. Algeria also has a special place in French history. The French tried to hold on as long as possible in their enslavement of the Algerians.
