I don't follow him that close but when his articles are linked on Drudge they've been right on. I also have watched him with Syrian Girl. I'm not sure who or what the "illuminati" are exactly but I suspect I would not go along with that sort of thing. I thought Jones was correct about Obama faking tears during his Sandy Hook presser.

He's a pretty big egomaniac. He preys upon people's paranoia and fear trying to advance his brand.

He'll say pretty much anything for attention.

That said, I like how he focuses on the loss of privacy and data collection we are witnessing.

Not familiar with the fellow.

But this pretty much makes him seem like any of the politicians from either of the major US parties.

Does he also solicit campaign contributions?

The Illumunati was a group that existed centuries ago and only for a short period of time. They've been scaring the paranoid ever since.

I'm worried that I already am being used by the CIA so yes I believe what Jones is saying is true... he's not the only one pointing out the truth either. Too bad I'm too dumb to connect the dots or to break free of the deception and tyranny. But at least I'm currently aware of what the U.S. govt is doing unlike most people who are totally oblivious and uneducated. I just hope the tendency to speak my mind won't be a long term problem for me. The sting operations alone are scary as shit... suppose I get tricked into one of those? Suppose I get drugged, knocked out, and wake up the commander of a military somewhere? I mean, that's happened to people... some of these people, like Bush, never even knew what they were doing. I don't think Clinton knows that some of his actions lead to the OK City Bombing. Timothy McVeigh knew what was going to happen to him but he couldn't stop it from happening to him. If the American State from 1933 to present doesn't fuck over those unaware or deemed to be mentally unfit, then I don't know what does. Death outside of the state is a lot less worse than surviving under the blue pill.

All of that said, after reading/seeing the works of Alex Jones and Russ Baker I can't understand how any intelligent person could think that governments should be any stronger than confederations.

The truth is he is somewhere between 4 and 5. He speaks some truth and he espouses some conspiracy theory as well, with the difference being that some of the theories are truth. Is he cointelpro, is he legit, is he a nutbag who is wrong about everything? Is he Bill Hicks? All interesting questions.

I know this much, he is certainly correct on some of his material without a doubt.

I enjoyed watching him dig on Piers Morgan.... but then he started ranting about WTC7 being blown up by the government and lost me.

Some of his points are valid but I think he takes things to an extreme and adds drama to them.

I used to watch some of his youtube videos but honestly his voice just got annoying after a while...

I am deadly serious: has it ever occurred to you that you only believe this because you are mentally ill? I mean that kindly. You have already said you have issues, and I see a strong link between them and the paranoia

I think Alex is between 1 and 2, though I think strongly be believes most of this stuff. I listen to him sometimes for lols. As with most people he is not always wrong.

Alex jones presents a lot of legit facts.
The conjecture he places on those facts is done to increase his brand and to make money.

He's a nutjob and only makes the gun lobby look more extreme and fundamentalist than it on average really is. If I were pro guns I'd consider him an embarrassment and a liability

Yes. But that doesn't change the fact that the CIA could be looking to recruit me for things I've said in the past, things I may say, or even knock me out with me waking up the king of a foreign country and not even remember my identity. I'm stupid. The fact that I'm "mentally ill" is kind of a smokescreen for my stupidity... people shouldn't look at me for my "mental illness", they should look at me for my stupidity. People who aren't stupid can't be knocked out from behind. Psychological metrics like IQ are fine, psychiatry isn't.

Anyway, the mind control shit and hypnotization techniques the CIA is said to do does scare the shit out of me. I'm more scared than I am paranoid.

I guess you've never heard of MKUltra.

I mean that kindly.
Thank you:)

Thank you:)

Most of the people in here would call it a conspiracy theory....funny thing is:

Project MKUltra was first brought to public attention in 1975 by the Church Committee of the U.S. Congress, and a Gerald Ford commission to investigate CIA activities within the United States. Investigative efforts were hampered by the fact that CIA Director Richard Helms ordered all MKUltra files destroyed in 1973; the Church Committee and Rockefeller Commission investigations relied on the sworn testimony of direct participants and on the relatively small number of documents that survived Helms' destruction order.[13]

In 1977, a Freedom of Information Act request uncovered a cache of 20,000 documents relating to project MKUltra, which led to Senate hearings later that same year.[7] In July 2001 some surviving information regarding MKUltra was officially declassified.

I went with 1, but the truth is probably more between 1 and 2.

This is accurate. I've been watching Alex since he was on late night public access in Austin, he really believes the shit he says, but I think lately since he has blown up due to the internet he was started getting a lot more "financially aware".
