I have pain in my spine which keeps me awake. With two Aleve, I am still awake and unable to get comfortable enough to sleep. With two Aleve and one small cocktail, I can sleep through the night without pain. In years past, Aleve would work beautifully for me, and I am not a drinker. But with my current condition, Aleve alone will not help at all.

Its unwise because alchohol and NAIDs are both bad for your stomach lining. That said if you take it with a meal or something like omerprazole its not a big deal.

You will feel the stomach pain when the NSAID wears off.
