Ad says it is a 4.1 MP Medion digital camera with 3X optical zoom, and LCD screen...Also comes with 64MB CF card, rechargable batteries. carrying case, and AC adapter...

Sale starts Monday, April 29th...Not bad for that price...

Link. Nice price, but does anyone know the quality of this camera?

Edit

Did a search and found a forum (German, 83 threads so far) discussion about it. Aldi 4.1 digital camera

Looks like it is similar to a Jenoptik JD4100 Z3.

<< I've found several user opinions and reviews of the Jenoptik-branded version of this camera in German, and they range from mediocre to bad. So-so picture quality, no manual controls except white balance (not even exposure adjustment), ISO 100 only, pixelated 64K LCD, slow F3.4-3.6 lens, camera locks up when transferring photos to PC (must remove batteries to bring it back to life). One site compiled four user opinions with an average rating of 2 stars out of 5.

Imaging-resource has specs on the Jenoptik JD 4100 z3 which appears to be the same camera, including a link to the OEM source, Scanhex, in Taiwan.

I don't know what Aldi's return policy is, but I wouldn't gamble on this camera unless I could return it for a full refund after giving it a thorough try-out.
