So, I work in a corporate environment and was out to lunch today when this guy orders a beer, fine one ber at lunch hurts no one. After he slams his beer, he gets a Long Island Ice Tea. I asked him if he thought that was appropriate, and he said there was nothing wrong with having a couple of drinks at lunch.

I timidly sit back down and mind my own business, thinking, what the hell. As we get up to throw our trays away, he sneaks a flask out of his pocket and takes a healthy pull. We all get in our separate cars, and turns out he hit an old guy and some kids on the way back to work.

TLDR: When did Wendy's start serving beer and mixed drinks?

Be careful. Drinking beer, or alcohol for that mater, can result in loss of a job. Regardless if the lunch you took was outside the scope of work environment.
