No, they are for generics.
Check out their web sites.

Not for all generics, and it's not $5.

A typical 30 day supply quantity is $4, and a typical 90 day supply quantity is $10. The pharmacy chains that have this pricing plan are Kroger, Wal-Mart, Target, Bi-Mart (Theirs is $3.99/30 days and $10.99 for 100 days) and some others that have similar but different pricing plans.

The only drugs that are available for this price that are remotely related to sleep are trazodone, amitriptyline, and doxepin. None of the good prescription sleep aids are cheap.

Zolpidem (generic Ambien) runs around $60/month
Temazepam (generic Restoril) runs around $30-40/month
Lunesta runs around $180/month
Ambien CR is somewhere over $140/month
Lyrica is over $120/month
Rozerem is over $80/month
Zaleplon (generic Sonata) is over $70/month
Triazolam (generic Halcion) I cannot recall, but I believe it's not under $50

(Prices may vary depending on the pharmacy chain, price examples are from my pharmacy of employment (Kroger) and are ball-park figures based on memory)

Looks like the only thing they offer is a Unisom generic. Has anybody used Unisom?

it's either diphenhydramine or doxylamine. doxylamine is better, IME.

but it's over the counter and cheap shit anyway. confused.

Alcohol makes it so I get 4 hours of shitty sleep tops...sucks.

What works for me is Melatonin. 1 or 2 pills 30min or so before I plan to go to bed. It isn't one of those "BAM OUT LIKE A ROCK" kind of things, it more just makes me good and relaxed and sleepy.

It's very similar to going out in the bright sun for a while during the day, then you go inside and it's dark and suddenly just want to take a nap.

The problem is that I have a hard time relaxing. I'm usually working on school 16-18 hours a day. If I had 3-4 hours to relax every night before bed, then I'd be able to fall asleep easier.

When I was working during the summer, I actually had time in the evening to relax before bed. I had no problem falling asleep then.

I guess having a few drinks before bed helps me relax faster.

Wow that's a shitty work load. That's your main problem I'd say. I was going to suggest some heavy exercise for say 30-40 mins if you have the time.
