Alcatel Speed Touch Home (Cant get PASV to work on FTP)

I have an Alcatel Speed Touch Home Pro modem. I have 2 computers networked together
on my modem via LinkSYS HUB. I setup a ftp and it works fine except it will not allow PASV
mode. I was told there is probably a port I need to open but I have no idea what port.
I setup ftp on port:21 and opened 20 and 21 that didnt work. Is this something Im not
going to be able to do while running a home network?

what ftp server program are you using?

I know servu will let you enter an external ip, so that pasv mode will work correctly

Im using BulletFTP (G6). Thanks for the help.
I dont see anything like that in the option for it.

Wait I found it. So I add external port ?? (is that going to be the modem IP or the
actually IP address im on the net with?)
