Well, I just drove somewhere. I'd had three beers in the past three hours, so technically I should be fine - but for some reason I feel otherwise. Nothing bad happened. But anyways, I feel like crap for driving with any alcohol in me, so please admonish me or something.

You are an A$$ and lucky you didn't kill someone. Now learn from your mistake and never do that again.

yea seriously that was not cool.

I have always wanted to try drinking and driving once though to see what it's like, so that it would discourage me from ever considering it. Of course if I should do it, it would be something like with a golf cart in a park or a go cart on a closed track, never with an actual car on the streets.

What should I say? If you drink, and someone hit your car it's YOUR fault, not theirs (no matter the circumstances). If you think this is OK, do it again.
Legal system tends to consider that a driver influenced by alcohol is always at blame (even if in fact it isn't).

You all must realize he was almost certainly legal. I'm sure he was below .08 alcohol. Of course recent studies - and anybody who is honest with themselves after a beer and a half - can tell you that even if you're under the limit you can feel the booze and it does affect your system. For many people this doesn't bother them; if it's legal they'll drive. Others take a more extreme view: If they can feel the alcohol they will not drive. Feeling and its ability to impair your driving to a significant point come before the law kicks in at .08
