Alberto Gonzales Poll.

techs

Lifer
I have to admit that I don't know if there is any way to get rid of him except impeachment (if it applies to the A.G.) or even if lying would be an impeachable offense.
But this poll is about whether you think he should stay or go.

Doesn't matter, just another puppet would be put in place by the Puppet in Chief.
Well there's only about 90 million Republicans in America. At least we should get started eliminating them from government.

If he goes, there will be another 2 month distraction coming down the pike

Yes techs and Virgina, the AG can be impeached---any Federal official can be impeached---and the closest similar case comes from the teapot dome scandal---where the AG refused to prosecute the rats involved---and after some similar hearings---Cooledge still backed the AG---so congress started the impeachment process---and before it came to fruition, the AG resigned.---and after Cooledge nominated to two similar clones and the Senate refused to confirm them--we finally got an AG who put the rats of teapot dome in jail.

The question is does the political will exist to impeach Gonzales?----I voted yes----but its the house and the senate that matter.

As for a Gonzales replacement---GWB&co. is going to have to look under a lot of rocks to find someone with worse reading comprehension than Gonzales---but hopefully the Senate will simply say no.

I just voted, but I can't recall which way I voted. Now, I'm not saying I didn't vote, I seem to recall voting, but there were a lot of things happening at the same time and I can't recall which way I voted. Having said that, I am sure whatever I did or did not do was right.

So are you saying your involvement with the poll was limited, you are responsible for it, or limited responsibility secondary to incompetence?

If he goes then every other JD official who graduated from Pat Robertson U needs to go as well. Let's get some people in there with real LAW degrees, who aren't simply puppets of Rove and the RNC.

Yes, let's just throw out our elected government.

You don't have to throw out ALL of out ELECTED and APPOINTED government.

JUST THE PARTS THAT DON"T WORK AND ARE CLEARLY DIS FUNCTIONAL.

That is why our founding father rote impeachment into the constitution.!!!!!!!!

So it can be used when needed.

Typical enabling Sycophant, another fine loyal servant.

'One who kisses the figs'

In modern English, the term has come to mean one who seeks to please people in positions of authority or influence in order to gain power themselves, usually at the cost of pride, principles, and peer respect.

or as his closest friends say of him, "toady" or "toadying", derived from the term "toad eater".
