Maybe Alaska broke off into the ocean

We can only hope and pray! Well, only if ShotgunSteve and a few other AT'ers made it out okay. After they're okay, THEN Alaska and everyone in it can sink into the ocean. Yay!

Look up about five posts. Me and my army of laser adapted whales have freed Alaska from the icy grip of Canada!

FROZEN NORTH NO MORE!!!

Gonna park ON TOP of Hawaii. That's what the earthquakes were for. To get rid of the current population. That part of the plan failed... But we will continue.

I'm posting this because I was wondering why I couldn't get in touch with any of my Fairbanks buddies and this seems to be why. Again, I haven't found any news stories about this anywhere, so for anyone else with friends/family in Alaska - this is what's going on if you're having problems getting in touch with them. Just a heads up 🙂

Come on. You KNOW it's zombies.

Not just any zombies, ice zombies. Screwed royal.

Let's hope they contain the xenomorph incursion quickly.

Otherwise we'll have to pull out and nuke the site from orbit.

A communications disruption can mean only one thing...

...Canada, with it's one tank and one sniper, has invaded Alaska.

AWESOME, when did we get a sniper?

When the one patrol got a copy of CS:S and successfully defended bombsite with his awp - that qualified him.

According to what I have heard, a construction crew (dealing with storm damage I presume) cut the other cable. I wasn't able to call anywhere using my ACS cell phone yesterday, it finally started working again last night.

My first clue something was up was when my 'Net was down for more than two hours and I started trying to call the 1-800 service numbers for ACS and every phone number they listed gave nothing but a rapid busy signal (a friend got the same signal when she tried to call my cell phone from New York). Service is somewhat restored (obviously) but some people are having speed issues.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, credit card and debit card services were down as well, so it was cash or cheques only when dealing with businesses around here. I haven't ordered paper cheques in years, but at least I had some cash on hand. 🙂
