I would consider Sid Meier leaving Microprose to be one of the reasons they are gone.

Here is Sid's new home.

I guess Grand Prix 4 is dead :( . I loved playing European Air War and Falcon 4.0. A very sad day.

Yea, yea, it came with my Double Fusion LX "Multimedia" (2X CD-ROM, PAS-16 sound card) upgrade way back in the day, along with that very treasured copy of this game called "Civilization"... now that's a game I'll always have fond & vivid memories of. And on that note:

Thanks for the memories & good times MicroProse.

me too

:D

That sucks. :(

I've been thinking about loading up Masters of Magic and X-COM a lot lately.

I liked Microprose, but It's not like this affects anything. They Haven't made a game I'm interested in in a long time. And all their good people left a long time ago.

Darklands
Gunship 2000

These are 2 games I would have liked to have had a expansion or a sequel for!

Played MoM a few months ago again, still works fine.

I mourn this loss :(

Wow F-19 that brings back memories! I first bought the demo(which came on a 1.44 floppy) and then the full version and played that games for hours! Falcon 3.0 was THE defining flight sim.
