College Alarm Clock
He switched from IBM to Maxtor drives? IBMs have just died on me outright, while every Maxtor drive I've owned (I think it's a total of 5 over the years) has developed new bad sectors, warranting either retirement from service or warranty service. But hey, at least they've never just gone dead. And at least Maxtor hasn't been involved in anything on the scale of IBM's "deathstar" fiasco.
And listen to him when he says "always back up" - it can be nice to have a backup when your computer decides to commit suicide.
AAAAanyway, enough OT ranting. That software looks interesting. Might have to try it. Coupled with the RTC alarm in BIOS, can make for a good, high tech alarm clock. Granted, the BIOS can't be programmed to wake up at different times on different days; hopefully that function will be added by some visionary programmer, or else someone with lots of time.
Just hope that your PC doesn't decide to crap out on you during bootup - standard alarm clocks are ever-so-slightly less complex than a PC.
