I'm not so sure. If it was Obama he needs his butt kicked, if it was an exercise to get people interested in geometry by recreating the "grassy knoll" scenario it's hard to justify giving him grief for that.

If that were the case then I agree. Is it?

I don't want him using ANY president, even a bank president. The only way I'd give him a pass for the grassy knoll scenario is if for some reason he was saying Oswald couldn't have done it - which at that short range is just silly - or that someone in another location couldn't have done it. I suppose a historical recreation would be acceptable, if in very poor taste. Still, if he is using a mythical or deceased president I'd say give him a slap on the wrist, but if he's using a sitting or even surviving past president I'd say give him the boot. Although if he's a really good teacher I'd settle for a short unpaid vacation. There aren't really that many good teachers in my experience, until you reach college anyway.

lol is it even up to debate to fire this guy? What a fucking moron. Politics have no place in math class.

This law is kinda retarded make work. You really think an assassin is going to talk about it?

More details from the local news. Doesn't sound as bad is was made out to be. That's probably why the SS and school admin let him off until people started complaining.

Also today, a student in Harrison's class said the incident has been "blown out of proportion."

"We were going over a test and getting reviewed for our finals and were going over tangency," sophomore Malia Drummond said. "A student walked in and said, 'Well, if you shoot the president...' and the teacher picked up on it and said, 'OK, if you shoot off his ear, that is a point of tangency.'"
