I relaize this is not a $500 monitor
I have had several Samsung/Envision/Proview LCDs...not high end by any means
The best LCD screen I have seen is on my N5010 laptop..16in crystalview..perfect
I picked up the Acer..for $182 /tax..no brainer
I hooked it up to DVI..got 1680x1050 with no issues on my x1900xt
no dead pixels...but I ran dead pixel testers including Dead Pixel Buddy....very nice for pixel testing

The biggest issue so far is poor uniformity of colors in the 4 corners and at the edge of the screen
I have run Dead Pixel Buddy for 20min or so on a continous loop and the bleed/poor uniformity to edges have improved..the top corners are the worst but look better
I am not sure if this is a bleed issue or what...it seems a little better with use....the top corners are annoying..bottom makes no real perceptible difference to me
Curious if anyone else is having this issue
