This fight wasn't between the US and al-qaeda.. they kidnapped him to try and force Saudi Arabia to release some of their fighters from the prison in Saudi Arabia.

What do you expect from those inhumane savages? Hell they've been doing that to each other for centuries, you expect them to treat us any better than they treat themselves? IMO liberating them isn't worth one American Sevicemans life. The best way to deal with them is to find an alternative fuel source which in turn would render them insignificant on the grand scale of things and we could just write them off and let them get back to killing and buggering each other!

It is simple. The reason killings like these are done like this is that they still think they can shock us into submitting to their demands. According to Bin Laden, Westerners don't have the stomach for it. I guess they were right in Spain.

The thing is, in Spain the Government didn't have the majority of the voters support regarding Iraq. In the US crap like this is only going to piss us off. Of course if we spent as much effort going after Al Qaeda as we did with the Dub's excellent adventure in Iraq, Al Qaeda would be to afraid to show their mugs outside of a cave now!
