pidge, no, Palm created that.

Sheesh, will everyone get off his back about the who "i created the internet" quote...he said he helped initiate the plan for it or something...initiate, help get started, not invent. Get on with your lives people...we have bigger things to worry about than butchering al gore quotes!

Ya know, if Dubya gets in, then we will have a real bru-ha-ha as they say in texas. I don't like either candidate especially, but I at least don't have to worry about idiocy with Gore, he can at least think on his feet and negotiate with foreign countries! Arg, I'm so sick of this presidential election process!

Ya know how funny SNL will be once one of these two get elected?! Whoooooo boy... :D

I think you doomed yourself with this line, Zip

<<but I at least don't have to worry about idiocy with Gore>>

No worries there, idiocy will abound.

Think on his feet?

Negotiate?

I cant go on.

MAX, I don't.

Presentation is very important and making deals and international relations are no exception to this rule. I doubt that the primier of china is interested in any of Bush's light, fluffy, Texan humor and his rants about Washington hypocrisy. He probably would be more interested in dealing with Gore who presents him in a respectful, serious manner.

Zip,

I think you know little of doing business in China (No disrespect)

There are no contracts, everything is done on a handshake and YOUR WORD AND REPUTATION. One misstep and you never do business there again. If you are a foreighner, you need a native of high standing to partner with you, represent you, speak for you and so on because they only trust their own kind.

Cant imagine politics to be much different.

MAX - The business "rules" you describe in China may be evident between "locals," but foreigners are constantly bombarded with ambiguous rules. The government uses vague laws as a type of protectionism.
