Are firearm's safety courses mandatory for adults?

If possible, then yes regardless of whether said adults ever intend to own a firearm.

Agreed, as firearms are a right in this country, not educating children about them, pafticularly safety aspects, is doing children a great disservice. I think firearms safety courses should be made mandatory in public schools.

I agree. Firearm safety is just as important as drug awareness programs.

Not adults, minors need a safety course in my state to get a hunting license. For concealed carry, adults register for eight sessions, can then show up for none and still get a pass if their check is good. Just another diploma mill .
