Been there lots of time for work. The Talladega national forest is nice and looks quite a bit like the area in which I live. Though I was a bit annoyed when I arrived there (Oxford/Anniston) the Sunday there was a race at Talladega and my hotel was full of NASCAR fans.

I've been to all the states surrounding it but never Alabama. Alabama and Louisiana are the only 2 southern states I have never been to. Someday I will fix that.

I had to spend 5 1/2 hours driving through that miserable state to get to another miserable state called MS. They both would have been great states if their roads didnt suck complete ass.

I-20 sucks ass. I-65 isn't too bad. I-75 isn't bad. I haven't travelled I-59 much but it seems ok.

i travel 20/59 allllll the time (Tuscaloosa-Bham) and its soooooooooooo nice....up until it splits...in which case 20 sucks big time...and 59 could use help in areas...only reason my stretch is nice is because of mercedes

65 gets very nice around the cities...Montgomery area is alllll new...same as huntsville...bham needs help on the outskirts though I think it is I-10...down in mobile that goes towards Destin...i like that highway....very big and nice
