The bolded part is utter and obvious nonsense. The PRMC was a bipartisan effort of prudes and many, many of us so-called progressives vehemently opposed it-which is why it essentially failed.

Unfortunately there are too many on the right or left (mostly right) that feel they know what is desired social behavior and are obssessed with implementing their rules into law. Witness the Bush years, GOP anti-gay marriage drives, etc. Live and let live soemtimes seems to be the exception.

Totally see where you stand. What about the PC movement? The "left" feel they know what is desired social behavior and are obsessesed with implementing their rules into law. See it works both ways dude. Don't be so ignorant as to think one side is better than the other. People on both sides think they know what is best for us and how we should act or treat others. I think they're full of shit and should go blow a donkey.

Essentially correct. He was over-generalizing about progressives. Yet I would point out that liberals and conservatives seem to want to censor different things, usually. For the right, it's everything to do with sex. For the left, it's everything to do with violence. It's the same thing with nanny-statism. For the right, it's maijuana. For the left, it's tobacco. And on and on.

Quite true. At the moment we do not have a major party that will forswear using the power of government (including the labyrinthine tax code) to control behavior. We do have the Libertarian Party and they often get my vote as the lesser evil, but they are now predominantly the party of legalized drugs, unrestrained immigration, and defense beginning in our own streets.

This is normal for any rich couple. At a certain age, they are ready to seperate and find younger more attractive mates. They'll both be able to afford beautiful new mates and enjoy the "golden" years of their lives in happiness.

Al will find some young hottie in her early 20s and tipper will perfer a more mature male in his early 30s.

She wasn't too bad to look at in her younger days:

A sad fact of life is that almost every heterosexual male and almost every gay female would rather fvck almost any 20-year-old-woman than almost any 60-year-old woman

I logged on to ATP&N to see who was getting pleasure out of the Gores separating. I bet myself a vacation breakfast beer I could get 75% of the list of celebrating forum members. I won the bet, I got 85% of the list so far.

Hmmm, ice cold Bud breakfast!

Getting pleasure of out someone's, even someone you disagree with, misfortune is fucked up. You guys need to work on getting your heads out of your asses.

why are you calling this misfortune? how do you know that they didn't just decide to not hang in the same house (although they probably haven't been doing that in a while) any more? maybe you are the one with head up ass (and an alcohol problem, drinking in the morning) and they just drifted apart after 40 years of hanging out and are still friends but want to have sex with people who look like they did 30 years ago without 'the scandal!!!'... this is the freedom of the proletariat!!!

Why do conservatives hate Al Gore so much?

Because he has become a multi-billionaire not by producing anything of value, but by using political connections and government power. He lives a lavish life of luxury while decrying modern society for everyone else. Essentially, he is the archetype for socialist/communist leadership.
