Any of his films. All great. Try Lina Wertmueller also for tragic humor.

I liked Ran and the obvious Seven Samurai.

I saw the Seven Samuri DVD on sale the other day and they wanted $35 for it. It is a great movie but not that great.

RAN is pretty cool. It's a take-off of Shakespeare's King Lear. Very good movie.

As a Staw Wars fan, I imagine this is a must see.
