This is wierd... i received mine yesterday, and it was missing the adapter plug to go from 3.5mm stereo to whatever it is (the larger one). Am I not supposed to receive this? The package says that it contains that part, however, my sealed unit doesn't even come with it! I wonder if mine was a refurb... Did anyone come across this? or does it include the adapter plug?

I also agree that they are a little light on the bass. But my goodness, these headphones do produce very good sound. It doesn't feel like a headphone, feels like you are hearing something from a concert. Excellent open air headphones for 20 bucks.

the headphone is somewhat unimpressive at first.

then, I turned on DFX for media player 9, the sound is much much better, it sounds quite good. I am guessing the DFX turns up the dynamic range, so the low frequency/high frequency responses are activated..

I think this headphone probably needs some kind of amplification for it to sound the way it should.

this headphone is very comfortable.. i am happy with it. Without DFX, however, I would be disappointed.

Hmm... bizarre... I was actually referring to the 3.5mm to large phono plug adapter. Mine IS already a 3.5mm.

I think I know what is going on here. What happened, was that I attempted to be a little too tricky. I purchased this from Amazon.com, and did a AMEX BVG hence saving on the shipping cost and taxes (if applicable). It worked like a charm, got my check within a week.

So, I'm guessing that the package itself must be different. Oh well, good enough for me. I can easily buy the adapter plug elsewhere.

after about 1 weeks worth of breaking in, they seem to have lost most of their brightness... for 20 bucks i don't think i could've found anything better. 🙂
