AIW Radeon & SOF2 & Madden 2003

I'm having trouble getting a couple of games to play in my new system. I have an All In Wonder Radeon 32MB installed in a 2.4G P4 with 512MB memory and an Audigy sound card running Windows XP Pro. The problem is when I try to play SOF2 in single player mode the monitor switches into sleep mode when the game tries to launch. This happens after the clip at the top fills and the game tries to switch to 3D mode. Madden 2K3 does almost the same thing, only it throws an error instaed of putting the monitor to sleep. I have the latest drivers installed for everything. If anyone could make a suggestion as to what my problem is, I would be very grateful Thank you.
One more thing. In SOF2, the PC has to be reset. When it reboots, Windows XP says that the cause of the problem is with the video driver. Like I said though, the latest drivers are installed and I have even tried using the previous version of the driver.

Wow! I have the same DAMN annoying error with Madden 2002 and GTA3! After a while the monitor goes into sleep mode in Windows XP and after I reboot, I get the error reporting thing.....so I looked up the log entry and here is what it says:

Can someone please help......you don't know how annyoing this damn thing is...

I had this same problem, but it went away, and it didnt happen with my games, just after rebooting once. Have you tried the Cat 3.0 drivers?

never mind...........i see it at rage3d.com..........
should I download DirectX 9 first? Also is it compatible with ATI Radeon 7200 32mb DDR?

Thanx for the responses. I ended up fixing the problem by downloading and installing the 6.13.10.6200-efg drivers from Rage3d.com. Along with DirectX 9, this seems to have solved my problems.

really?...........i guess ill give it a shot even though the new catalyst 3.0 are pretty useless for Radeon 7200 owners..........

IT STILL DOES IT AFTER GETTING DIRECTX 9 AND CATALYST 3.0, BUT I THINK IT IS A LITTLE MORE STABLE NOW.........
