AIW Radeon problems!

Hi,

I have the AIW Radeon and have one annoying problem. Whenever I use the tv-tuner the system often crashes.

My specs are:
Abit KT7-Raid
256 MB PC-133 Generic/Crucial
2 X Quantum Fireball LM + 30 GB RAID-0 HDs
SB Live Value
Generic NIC
Generic Modem
Buncha USB devices -- also a big issue! 🙁

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Do you mean the Win2K beta drivers for the applications, or the special purpose drivers for the video card itself? I am currently running SP driver version 3063(?) on WinME.

err, sorry not being specific...

the special purpose drivers for win 98se should do the trick

If i try to install the special purpose drivers for 98, i get an erro saying i need to change to standard vga, but if i do then i reboot and try again, it gives same error, but with regular drivers they install no problem. Is there something particular about the Special purpose ones?

I had the same problem as you initially, sirfergy. Installing the 3063 drivers helped temporarily, but somehow it got screwed up again. Did you install the latest VIA 4in1 drivers? 4125a or something like that. I ended up doing a fresh install, did the latest 4in1s then the 3063 for the Radeon and everything was good again.

I just downloaded the newer 425a via drivers and the 3060 special purpose Radeons. Hopefully that will help. I also noticed that it runs fine, as fine as a Via board could, but when playing Counterstrike, eventually i'll lose my connection to server and after closing the game i need to reboot to get a net connection back up? But i dont lose the connection unless i go into a game
