aiw radeon help

i just got an aiw radeon
but my fps in counter strike and my gaming in d2
both are hindered greatly
since the change
i used to use a gf2mx which gave me at least 72 fps solid
but since i changed, its been gettin worse and worse
is something wrong?
mebe is it my drivers?
settings i can change?
plz help

well, if i don't remember wrongly, the original radeon was a bit slower than the geforce 2 mx. Also, at that times, the AIW models suffered greatly from reduced performance. you should have upgraded from a gf2mx to a radeon AIW to enjoy the extra features like enhanced tv out and tv-in. If you are not satisfied, you can always send it back where it came from, add a few bucks and get a geforce 3 ti 500 or geforce 4 ti 4200, or if you want ati, an 8500 (now i hear they are going to be called radeon 9100).

forgot to mention this, but if you are using the drivers from the cd, upgrade to catalyst 2.x and upgrade direct x to 8.1b
