This is the All-in-Wonder Radeon which does TV-in, TV-out,
bunch of other stuff.

I saw this, ordered, and came here finding it already reported.

Read the reviews, thats why I got the link

But in short.. it does TiVo... you can use your computer as a VCR to rip THE SIMPSONS, you got dolby 5.1 outputs and composite video to your TV, you got a FREE lifetime TV Guide that downloads to your computer, watch TV on the computer, its the COMPLETE multimedia solution.. and plays from your DVD player to your TV amazingly

Not to mention it has DVI for flat panels and the CRT for us poor folk

Nice, except I'm waiting for it to drop near $150. Looks like I'll be waiting a year for that to happen. :) (or not)

[EDIT] Can you apply the $30 rebate to this to make it cheaper? Thread.

With the AIW Radeon, you can record video up to HIGH QUALITY MPEG2... however.. if you have a slower processor you hafta record in low quality. I have a p866 running at 975 and I cam record in TV quality which is really good.

Sorry RangerX... can't use the rebate because Buy.com isn't listed.

Besides a quick look on webshopper.com and pricescan.com says that 242 is the lowest price, and its at Buy.com, so you are getting a good deal anyways, right?

Oh man! i'd pick this baby up at $150 hell yeah, I'll wait it out too. My computer is turning more and more into my own 'bubble of life' man...

How the HELL am I supposed to 'get a life' and be more social when technology and price just keeps getting better and better?

Namuna, I agree. My drag car is really getting neglected this winter. :(

I've been happy with my Celeron 504 for around 2 years now. All of a sudden I decided to start hanging out at Anandtech again and now I have (hopefully) an Iomega CD burner on the way, I just installed 256 megs of good ram and an IBM 46.1 gig hd, I ordered 2 of the oem IBM 30 giggers, and now I am thinking about getting a new motherboard with RAID support along with a new processor. I have been planning on a new processor soon anyway. Also looking at finally getting a descent 3D card. LOL

Thanks for the deals guys! keep them coming!

I remeber how well my AIW 128 worked, ugh. What crap software. But now I'm tempted by cool new hardware.

So how well does the TIVO-ish software work? You guys able to cap the lates episodes of Temptation Island and then have a nice little collection to watch at a later date?
