AIW and pay cable

Is there a way to get premium/pay channels with my AIW 8500dv? Short of buying another decoder box from Adelphia, that is...

I pay for these, but I want to get them on my puter as well. I know ATI won't support something like this (they told me to get another tuner box. Sigh.) But I'd love to find some software to do it for me.

I'd buy a box except for the fact that my area is going to digital cable in the next few months. I'm buying 2 decoders when that happens (one for TV and one for puter), but I'd hate to waste the money on an analog cable box for just a few months. :(

Any ideas?

There is no difference for using a real TV or Computer with tv-tuner card/box to watch tv.
If you don't want basic channels only, you must get a cable box for each TV or Computer, unless you want every TV or Computer shows the same channel.

Why do you want to buy cable box?
It's better to rent, the cable tv company could change from analog to digital anytime, and change from digital to digital with SIM card anytime, then change the SIM card anytime.
Unless you want to buy illegal black box, it's not a good idea to buy legal cable box.

That's what I was afraid of... I was just hoping. I own my analog box now (I found it at the swap meet for $10. cheaper than renting), and will probably do the digital thing too.

Just thought there would be some kind of software decoder available out there.

Thanks!
