AIW 9800 Pro w/ VGA to DVI connector

I am running the AIW 9800 Pro video card which only has a DVI connection. I have tried 3 VGA to DVI connectors to connect my VGA monitor, and somehow the monitor doesn't see the signal.

I have tried two VGA monitors (one standard Dell CRT, and another is a LCD Viewsonic), and neither worked. I verified that the monitors are actually working correctly on a computer with only a VGA connection for the video card.

I have tried two DVI monitors and those worked just fine. The motherboard/cpu are new, and the 9800 Pro is around 11 months old I believe.

What else should I do?

Could it be a software problem? I mean, in the ATI control panel you can maybe set what type of monitor you're working with... Just trying to help, but I don't really have a clue either... You could try it...
