I'm a little confused about updating and finding out what version certain parts of ATI's Multimedia Center are. It's my first real videocard, so I don't mean to sound like a noob, but you know. ATI doesn't make it very clear. It seems like Catalyst is just the name of every program the card comes with, but then there's easylook and easylaunch..... what's the difference?
I tried updating the Multimedia center, but when I restarted I got the same error message that rbV5 had:
Fatal Error
But, I uninstalled the card and reinstalled it, and that kinda fixed it (my bootup is slower)...........I think that it had something to do with choosing server or client in the easyshare dialogue box during setup.. but who knows.
Anyway, if anyone can give me a little assistance, that'd be great. This seems like a really good forum. Maybe I'll get a chance to help out at one point....!
