AIW 9000 Pro with a KR7A?

Anyone using this combination? I bought a AIW 8500 for my KR7A-133 & it will not post due to a unresolved BIOS issue.

I'm thinking of ordering an ATi AIW 9000 Pro/64mb to do the job, but first I wanted to know if it will work okay. TIA

Yes, but to no avail...I've never found anyone who resolved this AIW8500 issue, even by going to a more powerful PSU or changing AGP driving value in BIOS. Seems to be a VIA chipset(KT266/A) & Award BIOS problem that just effects certain mainboards when used with the AIW 8500. In my case the 8500 would not boot in my KT7 or KR7A mainboards.

Tho I'm hoping a AIW9000 will boot...I need to hear from someone who actually tried it.

Still have questions about AIW9000Pro, I assume it will work with most newer mainboards, also with LCD monitors(I have a ViewSonic VP191 LCD) using DVI cable. My main concern is when using DVI output with LCD: Can you see the POST screen when booting, when setting up BIOS, or booting into DOS?

The AIW8500/7500 would do all this using VGA cable, but had real problems doing this with DVI cable on quite a few LCDs as I've seen in newsgroups...
