AIW 8500 or other AIW and s-video

if anyone is playing console game on their AIW w/ s-video cable.... (so far i've tried out w/ AIW radeon, and AIW 8500DV) .. could someone tell me if the picture quality goes 'bad' after a while? ...

i was playing my game w/ sweet s-video picture.. and all of a sudden.. picture goes fuzzy.. and it looks worse than composite... after a while.. picture now 'tries' to go to s-video mode again.. only to go back down to bad picture quality...

i believe this is ATi card's bug, or MMC 7.7 because i've tried it out w/ several s-video cables...

lmk if anyone is having same problem.. and if there's any fix for it..

I use my 8500DV with S-Video to play my Playstation 2 with no problems....

Is the cable you used high quality?

I've use the Radeon AiW 32mb DDR, Radeon 7500 AiW 64mb DDR, and the Radeon 8500DV AiW 64mb DDR....

All work no issues....

I run winXP, and Win2k all updates..... Catalyst 2.3, all the new ATi Drivers and software....

Check connections, and make sure to use high grade cables.....

hmm really..

so far i've used 2 generic s-video cables.. and one sony authentic s-video cable... all had same problem 😛
