I live in the dorms at OSU. Recently, I couple of guys got some spring airsoft guns, myself included. Well, we busted out the lab goggles, shot each pair a couple of times to make sure they wouldnt break, then went at it. Those little .12 gram BB's leave some friggen welts, even though clothes. I figured if I dressed in pants and a long sleeve shirt I'd be fine, but nooooooooooo, they still sting like hell... and if you catch one on the ear or the scalp (I keep my hair within 1/2 most of the time), then it really stings like a b*&#@. I guess it would have helped if we didnt flip a pair of couches in and hold the 10 minute firefight inside the dorm room. We were determined to have a shootout, and there isnt anywhere to go at 3:30 AM that the cops wont come if they get a report of what we are doing, which is why we had it inside the dorm room. I cant wait until we figure out a place to have a legitimate shoot out at. Then hopefully the average distance to target will be over 7 feet.
