That's OK. From your relatively limited number of posts here, we've all pretty much figured out that you're not the sharpest tool in the shed.

yup! I watched that as part of my History of Flight and Space class. Gotta love the autopilot too.

I love how every time they cut to a shot of the plane from outside, they have the prop plane noise overdubbed for a jet (and an obviously crappy model at that).

Definitely near the top of the list, I always mention it when the subject of Comedies comes up. I can understand why some young'ins might not get it though, due to all the time sensitive references.

Airplane
Tremors
Blues Brothers
Dodgeball

You did NOT seriously just put Dodgeball in the same list as Airplane!.

I laughed my butt off throughout Dodgeball, even on the third viewing.

Guy1: Sir, shouldn't we turn on the runway lights?
Guy2(don't remember his name): No! That's exactly what they'd be expecting.

I found stuff like that funny when I was a kid, but now I prefer "subtle" comedy and parody. Stephen Colbert and Dave Chappelle are the pinnacle of comedy IMO.

I wouldn't call much of those guy's stuff subtle. If anything, Airplane is much more subtle, there's things you keep finding after repeated viewings.

I don't know.. Some people think Colbert is an actual conservative pundit, and I bet most don't fully understand Chappelle's comedy.

It's not quite subtle, but in one scene in the control tower, behind the guy who's talking, there's a drug deal going down.

Got to see this movie again.
Or save money for the impending Futurama DVDs.

Roger Murdock: Flight 2-0-9'er, you are cleared for take-off.
Captain Oveur: Roger!
Roger Murdock: Huh?
Tower voice: L.A. departure frequency, 123 point 9'er.
Captain Oveur: Roger!
Roger Murdock: Huh?
Victor Basta: Request vector, over.
Captain Oveur: What?
Tower voice: Flight 2-0-9'er cleared for vector 324.
Roger Murdock: We have clearance, Clarence.
Captain Oveur: Roger, Roger. What's our vector, Victor?
Tower voice: Tower's radio clearance, over!
Captain Oveur: That's Clarence Oveur. Over.
Tower voice: Over.
Captain Oveur: Roger.
Roger Murdock: Huh?
Tower voice: Roger, over!
Roger Murdock: What?
Captain Oveur: Huh?
Victor Basta: Who?

First the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat so they all died and turned into oil. Then the Arabs got all the oil and they bought Mercedes Benses.
