Now if the cards were that cheap, I'd buy a dozen or so. good deal on the router though.
 
Reading through the manual, I saw "...this access point works as a bridge between the wireless and the wired LAN or ethernet clients", and thought that this was a bridge for a second.. Too bad it isn't. 🙁
 
It's not showing up in the product search, so it's probably already sold out...

If it is, you'll get a cancellation email soon. The same thing happened before with other clearance "deals".
 
sounds like a steal @ 4.00 hell cant even pick this up on ebay for that. Im in for 4. This will bee good ive been looking to go wireless

My friend just returned one of these to Fry's. I don't know if they have a new firmware out to fix it, but the router would not accept connections to the admin page after about a day of being up. If you wanted to change settings on the router, you would have to unplug it and then it would accept connections. Probably not a big deal for most home users, but we're running a BFV server on the fiber connection, so dropping the router == bad.

He didn't want to mess with it, so he got a Linksys or something else.
 
Well i just skool3d frys. I got the email saying it was canceled. I called and asked why? They said OOS, I said well my local store has them can i go there and pick them up? He says no becasue they are different entities and out posts wherehouse is in ohio. I said then why the hell did you charge me tax for AZ? They said becasue theres a store there. I said you just told me you are different entities and my product comes from ohio not from phx so therefore you cannont charge me tax. He said either way they are oos. So I called my local frys and told them to PM well they had them for 5.90 in the back so they PMd to 4.90 and i picked up my 4 they said they dont usually pm but when i said frys doesnt pm them selves he said well we arnt really the same company so i asked why in the hell did they charge me tax then... made him look liek an ass and i got my 4 routers

dont you hate it when a big store like this does not have real time inventory.

What a waste of time.

3days. Credit card 'authorizations' (to see if you have the money) are a real pain...
 
FYI, the AP portion of the router tends to have weak antenna. They're both internal units. Basically two strips of metal attached to the housing.
