Airfare website

What is the best stie for finding airfare, car rental, and hotel. Or is it better to do all three at a seperate place?

I usually find the best deals on www.travelocity.com.

I've never been disapointed with Yahoo! Travel, though if you do it at seperate places you'll probably get a slightly better deal.

it really depends. we have used expedia ALOT! however, when we are planning to travel, we check them all... expedia, travelocity, bestfares.com as well.

We have had luck with air/hotel pkgs, but we have found better prices on car rental seperatly!

SideStep works pretty well, and checks multiple sites at once

But I've found having a good travel agent is a great way of finding cheap flights. Especially for international flights.

I prefer Expedia.

Most of the sites will provide the same airfare cost +/- $10.

some will show the actual cost, others ignore taxes/fess to make the fares seem cheaper.

Also, there are some airlines that are not linked into the sites (SW for one)

Once you find a good airfare, check the site of the airline also.

Most will have the same fare without a surcharge, others will actually pricematch the fare found on another airline /web site.
