Air Flow for SLI rig?

Where would you guys recommend that I place some fans for optimal heat dissipation? Right now I have two 80mm fans up front, two 80mm fans on the back, one 80mm in the top, and one on the side. I know that's probably overkill but I was young and dumb when I put it together (young part has changed).

I have a 120mm fan on my HSF and I was thinking of making some sort of sleeve/tube and running it up to a hole in the side of the case so that the HSF would always get fresh air. That would eliminate the 80mm on the side. I was also trying to come up with some way of cooling the 2x6800GTs. All I could come up with is to mount another 120mm fan on the side blowing directly onto the two cards. Any ideas?

That wasn't dumb. If you're like me and don't give two damns about noise, then all those fans make sense. I'm using a rig now with 7 80mm fans (with 2 on the heatsink) but I use a fan control panel and I suggest you use one as well. The side intake sounds better than a ducting mod. A getting cool air in means nothing if you can't get the hot air out. The top and rear fans should be exhausts while the rest are intake. I don't know about you, but I like a little white noise to keep me asleep at night. Nothing worse than hearing a sudden noise in the middle of the night and waking up.

Ya, I hear you. I don't mind a little fan noise if it means keeping my rig cool. The front and rear fans are controlled by a control panel. So you think one 120mm fan mounted on the side would be better? I didn't think the two fronts I have now are doing a very good job of getting fresh air into the case. I've dremeled the metal mesh out to help air flow but I imagine the fronts are creating as much turbulence as they are helping. Besides that the front of the case doesn't really have any opening except for a few rows of holes drilled in the front.
