Air filters for a shuttle sk83g?

pics of the case here,

http://www.anandtech.com/systems/showdoc.aspx?i=2120&p=2

air comes in at the sides, theres vents all along the bottom edge. What would be a good looking permanent solution to keep dust out? I'd like to put the filters on the inside of the case if possible. I'm building this pc for my dad's friend and he lives out in the desert where it's hot and dusty. This pc needs a little armor to survive the harsh enviroment! 😛

If the computer is going into a house with central airconditioning, the AC unit filters air for the entire house even when just running the fan.

You can neatly attach polyfoam filter material to the side of computer using this.

You only need to use the "HOOK" part of the Velcro. The filter material works as the "LOOP". You don't even have to remove it clean it. A vacuum cleaner will clean it in seconds while its place.

High quality flter material will have no membrane windows remaining. They will all have been removed thermally during manufacturing. You can see this before you buy it. I bought my last supply at Home Depot for about a dollar.

hey trumphent,

i like the sound of buying filter material in bulk for a dollar 🙂 what do you actually ask for while at home depot?
