Is an 5050 BTU Air Condition unit blowing straight into my computer excessive? I have my 4400 x2 clocked at 2400mhz. 24c at 100% load. :)

If you are being serious, then I would say that the cool air inside your pc would create a perfect situation for condensation. Water all over the place would not be a good thing, so I say don't do it.

better not blow directly at it... but if you're using the AC to cool the room you're in and the PC is somewhat near the AC unit then it'd be good

cold air =! condensation. Warm air coming in contact with a cold surface does. If the whole inside of his PC is cold then the only possibility is some forming on the outside of his case. Odds are though, the air surrounding the PC is cold as well so it won't matter.

actually i was gonan suggest this comment a while ago, however....

People have done fine with it because the internal compoents in a computer wont get cold enough to cause condensation. If you really think about it, the Heatsink wont ever get that low, the board usually runs hot with all the resistors and diodes. Hard drives wont even go freezing. lol.

So i cant say 100% that this will happen. Maybe if he blasted it on full settings and itw as litterally TAPED to the computer.

Also humitidy plays a big factor on condensation. So... the best i would say is start low if your going to try, and turn it up slightly.
