AIR CANADA IS THE WORST AIRLINE EVAR!!!

HEY HERE'S A TIP! IF THE PLANE IS SUPPOSED TO MAKE A "SCHEDULED" (but not according to our tickets?) STOP IN SWEDEN, HOW BOUT U TELL THE FRIGGIN PASSENGERS *BEFORE* THE FLIGHT SO THEY CAN PLAN CONNECTING FLIGHTS ACCORDINGLY!!!

Oh, and BTW, a 30 minute refueling stop in Sweden won't be 30 minutes when you know there's blowing snow and ice on the wings so DON'T LIE TO US!!!

And get some REAL FVCKING FOOD!!!

In other news, I just got back from India! 19 hours flying time (in only 2 different planes) and 13 hours in airports. Need sleep. Badly. But I had to post on ATOT first.

Phocas, YGPM

When there's ice on the wings of the plane, the tank takes double duty as a Greyhound.

They used to be really good, but they are going through a restructuring plan now to avoid bankruptcy. The gov't just wouldn?t let them die.

You only just figured that out?

I'm not sure I agree they can be called bad for the weather though.
No, their bad is telling folks they'll get in at 5:30am EST, then as we board they say 7:30am and everyone with 8am flights gets fvcked. Then we show up at 9am and we're even more fvcked.

Be thankful you made it home in one piece with all the suspected terrorism threats out there. A minor little inconvienience won't kill you, like it did to all the unfortunate people that crashed into the Red Sea yesterday. Quit your bitchin'.

I was not aware of that. Yes it seems trivial...lets not even mention what it was like to be a sailor 100 years ago and having to spend months at sea to cover the distance I spanned in a day. But the point is that other nationalized airlines do a FAR better job than Air Canada...KLM, Lufthansa and a few Far East carriers (Thai, Air Malaysia, etc. come to mind.)

Just be glad they didn't ignore the "low fuel" light but decided to stop for fuel -- instead of trying to make it on the vapors to your destination.

I feel your pain. I know how irritable flying can make someone, and I remember the 6 hour layover I had in Zurich one time because of the NATO bombers(flying through Swiss Airspace so we were grounded until they passed). When you spend 24 hours flying you tend to get very bothered by every little thing that happens. Get some rest. 🙂

Worst? Ha!

I see someone hasn't been on (the now bankrupt) Balkan Airlines, flying in an old Tupolev 145, constantly praying for his life.

When you planned your trip, didnt you see an arrival time anywhere?

What was the flight #(s)?

I once flew to IReland with a big group. Our plane was rerouted to Toronto on Air Canada from St. Louis (then on to London; originally supposed to be from St. Louis to London direct). Well, our group gets to Toronto, and nobody there from Air Canada has any idea we're supposed to be there, or be on a connecting flight to London. Cuased a THREE hour delay for the London flight while they settled everything...needless to say, the people at the gate were PISSED!!! And when they finally got everything worked out we go to the gate, and they're calling our rows (the back rows) for the first to board the plane, our group walked straight into the plane! THis was the last straw for the people waitingfor hours at the gate...security had to be called in to settle things down...
